Ikigai

Not the famous book, even though the contents are valid. Ikigai is all about discovering your purpose in this universe. Understanding your strengths, passions and need of the universe. Define the reason to get going in the morning.

Kaizen

Literally translate to Continuous improvement. Kai change zen “change for the better”. Instead of having a big swing and missing it, have more control on small things, incremental changes rather than monumental changes.

Shu-Ha-Ri

Shu – Learn the fundamentals by following the teaching of one master. A good foundation sets up up the whole building.

Ha- Start experimenting, learn from the masters and integrate the learning into the practice. Breaking the traditions adding your variation and detachment of illusions of one self.

Ri – All moves are natural, learning comes from their own work, its not based upon learning, or observing but its more about reflection!

It’s a combined agile adoption pattern, where stages of learning to mastery.

Shikita ga nai

There are certain things you can control and there are certain things which are beyond your control and its perfectly ok, that’s how the universe works for now, before and forever. Focus and work on things which you can change and master.

Wabi- sabi

Perfection is a myth, there can be kaizen, there can be improvement, we are all in a way flawed, emrace it. Find peace with the imperfection. Understand nothing involves true perfectionism, oh that includes you too.

Gaman

A man’s character is judged by the attitude when he has everything and when he has nothing. Embrace emotional maturity and self control even during adversities. Preserve your dignity during tough times. Tough times go tough men remain.

Oubaitori

Do not find the good, it destroys the better. Everyone is unique there time conundrum is different from yours, do not ever compare yourself to others. Focus on your progress rather than measuring against others.
